Media Intern

This is an excellent opportunity for any High School or College student looking for Entry or Junior level hands-on experience with advertising and promoting in our growing industry. Perfect for students on semester break or looking to complement active studies.  Main duties will include helping the Marketing Manager plan, research, and create weekly content with the goal of generating views and engagement on media platforms. 

Interns will be responsible for helping the Marketing Manager complete tasks such as blogging, posting content, and engaging with relevant posts across social media platforms. 

To be successful as a media intern, you should be highly motivated and resourceful. Ultimately, a media intern should be computer literate, highly organized, and able to work with direction.

Responsibilities include:   

• Research and write weekly blog posts (Web Design, IT Services, Business Technologies, etc.)
• Generate views and engagements through media platforms
• Assist with marketing copy and proof reading

Additional Responsibilities / Opportunities Include:

• Assist in the monitoring and management of the company’s social media (to include LinkedIn, Instagram, Youtube, Google and other related platforms) and propose adjustments to outreach tactics as needed 
• Assist within other areas of intern's interests

• Prefer a candidate with proficient writing and grammar skills

• Interns should be transferring into or on track to graduate from a four-year college or university with a degree in Marketing, consumer psychology or other related disciplines.   
• Information Technology (IT) systems knowledge or courses NOT required. 

This is an entry-level position where candidates will or have gained most of their experience while earning their degree or completing other internships.    

However, candidate is expected to:   

• Utilize Time Management Skills   
• Independent and Timely completion of tasks.
